The Deb White Scholarship Fund was founded in 2019 in memory of the original Executive Director of the program. With founders Charlie Buchanan and Bill Barnett, Deb was passionate in the potential and promise of the youth in the Capital Region, and dedicated her time and energy to starting the program. Since then, hundreds of scholars have benefitted from the program and have joined the 518 ElevatED community. In order to stay connected to the program and continue her loving legacy, every year her family will raise money to provide a $10k scholarship to 518 ElevatED.
